Amboseli Nakuru and Masai Mara Safari on Minivan
Safari Overview
This tour starts from Nairobi, we drive southwest to Amboseli National park, home of the African elephant. It then proceeds to Lake Elementaita for overnight with an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru national park for the Rhinos and flamingoes. It culminates in the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve for the big five adventure safari. This will be done using a minivan.

Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: Amboseli home of the african elephant
This tour will take you to Amboseli national park, home of the African elephant which has the best view of Africa’s tallest mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro. You will be picked up from the airport or hotel by our driver guide and proceed southwest arriving on time for lunch. Have your lunch then later proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Lake nakuru home of the Rhino and Flamingoes
After breakfast, drive towards the great rift valley with a brief stopover at the viewpoint. Arrive at lake Elementaita for lunch. After your lunch, you will drive to nearby lake Nakuru national park for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru National Park is a world-class bird-watching safari destination and fondly referred to as the bird watcher’s paradise the park has more than 25 black rhinoceros plus around 70 white rhinos. There are also a number of Rothschild’s giraffe, Waterbuck, lion, cheetah, and leopard. The park has also been a paradise for the lesser and greater flamingoes. You will drive back to Lake Elementaita for your dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Masai Mara home of big five
After breakfast, proceed to the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve via the Great Rift Valley. En-route game drives to your hotel, enjoying the beautiful scenery. Arrive at your lodge/camp in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, enjoy an enthralling game-viewing drive. Spotting lions, cheetahs and other spectacular predators is the highlight of your day (If luck is on your side). This evening, enjoy a sumptuous dinner at your camp.
Day 4: Masai Mara National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game viewing across the park with picnic lunch boxes, or you can opt for a morning and afternoon game drive with a hot lunch at the camp. During the day, you will visit the Mara River, where the annual migration occurs. All your meals and overnight stays are at the camp.
Day 5: Masai Mara safari
On this day you can choose to go on a full-day game drive in the Mara with a picnic lunch or morning and afternoon game drives. Between the game drive optional visit (payments direct) to local Masai Village is conducted. The trees in the distance might turn out to be a family of Giraffes. Those clumps of bushes a pride of Lions, and the rock that moves a Rhino lumbering out of your way. With diligence and some luck, you may encounter a family of Cheetahs, or a herd of Elephants crossing the path in front of you. Large animals are not the only entertainment – a family of warthogs may amuse you, running as fast as their little legs will carry them until they forget why they are rushing and stop to regroup. Return later to your camp/lodge for dinner & overnight stay.
