Safari Overview
An excellent opportunity to combine a visit to Kenya’s largest park, Tsavo with Amboseli. Amboseli enjoys a spectacular backdrop – snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. Tsavo West with a visit to Mzima Springs and an observation glass tank which you can see fishes, crocodiles, and hippos and Tsavo East, home of the red elephants.

Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: On the way to Tsavo West
After pickup from Mombasa Airport, or an early morning departure from your coastal hotel drives along the main Mombasa – Nairobi highway entering Tsavo West for your first-morning game drive en-route to Ngulia Safari Lodge whereby you will be checked in the proceeding for lunch, be lazy around the pool before going for your afternoon game drive then be back at Ngulia Lodge for dinner and overnight stay, chances of seeing a leopard at a very close range.
Day 2: From Tsavo West to Amboseli
This day your breakfast is served very early in the morning, before checking out you will have game viewing en-route to Amboseli National Park via the Mzima Springs. Here is a water spring that produces more than 95 million gallons of water every day. You’ll have the chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and fish through the observation glass tank. Heading to the west of Amboseli, a seasonal lake attracts waterfowl, although most of the year it is merely a dry bed of soda. Soda where desert mirages dance across the surface. Sightings here include elephants, buffalo, lions, wildebeests, giraffes, zebra and baboons, and the endangered black rhino.
Lunch at the lodge. Relax before the late afternoon when you’ll embark on a game drive. Head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: From Amboseli to Tsavo East
In the morning, have a game drive in Amboseli after breakfast. Proceed to Tsavo East National Park which is home to the red elephants, and have a game drive en-route to Voi Safari Lodge/Voi Wildlife Lodge, where we will have lunch. Relax at the lodge enjoying the beautiful panoramic views, and as well as watching animals at the waterholes. You’ll then be going for your afternoon game viewing where chances of seeing the wild cats are high back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: After a morning safari we drive back to Mombasa
Morning game viewing before breakfast more chances for the cats, back to the lodge for breakfast after which a game drive is conducted as we try to make our way home arriving back to Mombasa Airport or your hotel, or beach resort in Mombasa where you arrive before lunchtime. Stopping for lunch on the way to your hotel in Diani, Kilifi, or Watamu.
