Safari Overview
Masai Mara is a large game reserve measuring 1,510 square kilometers in southwestern Kenya, it is famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and its annual migration of zebra and wildebeest which occurs from July to October. This is known as the great migration. You will also visit Lake Nakuru and Amboseli national park found along the Rift Valley.

Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi-Masai Mara National Reserve
You will be picked up from your hotel and later depart to Masai Mara with a picnic lunch en-route. You will arrive in Masai Mara around 3:30 pm and check into the camp. Later, after some refreshment, proceed to the park for an afternoon game drive until the park closes at 6:30 pm. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Mara Enkorok Tented camp.
Day 2: Masai Mara Full-Day Game Drives
After an early breakfast, you will spend a full day exploring this unique park with a picnic lunch. The Mara forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park. You have the chance to visit the Mara River, which borders Masai Mara and the famous Serengeti Park where there is a concentration of many animals. All meals and your overnight stay at mara Enkorok Tented camp.
Day 3:Masai Mara National Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park
You will have an early game drive and then after a late breakfast, depart to Lake Nakuru National Park with a picnic lunch on the way in Narok town. You will be arriving in Nakuru in the evening for check-in at Sarova woodland. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Sarova Woodland.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park - Amboseli National Park
After an early breakfast, we’ll spend the morning in Lake Nakuru Park where you will see a lot of flamingos among other birds [about 350 species recorded]. This is also home to the black and the white rhinoceros. The park has also been established for the protection of endangered species such as the rhino and it is also home to Columbus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plain antelope.
After the game drives, we’ll have a picnic lunch as we depart to Amboseli through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Amboseli National Park. This is home to the legendary Maasai tribesmen and is famous for huge herds of elephants. We will be arriving in the evening for dinner and our overnight at Aa Lodge or similar.
Day 5: Amboseli National park
After early breakfast, you’ll have a morning game drive and it will be the perfect time for photographing the humbling and magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa if the weather permits. You will also walk to the lookout observation hill. The rest of the day will be spent exploring the park with chances of seeing herds of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo and different species of birds. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Aa lodge or similar.
Day 6: Amboseli National Park / Nairobi
You will have a pre-morning game drive to see the view of Kilimanjaro and big elephants, lions, zebras and other animals. After breakfast, with a picnic lunch on the way, we will depart from Amboseli to Nairobi where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport.
